In the summer of 2024, I worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Daydream Studios, where I was given full creative control over the motion graphics for the digital remaster of Whitney Houston’s Concert for a New South Africa (Durban). The project called for reverence, elegance, and power, qualities reflected in both Whitney’s voice and her legacy. I crafted a motion cover that honored the historical significance of the performance while introducing purposeful, restrained movement. Every visual choice was made to capture the emotion of the moment and the cultural weight it still carries. The final product is a tribute in motion, celebrating not only Whitney’s voice but the voices she stood with.
